I just started using it, but I'm already loving its JS filters. I don't know how good it scales with more conditions, but the flexibility this can give you is great with just a little bit of JS knowledge.

Seems to be working perfectly again for me. UI features were limited for a few days.

Used to be great browser addon but apparently YT changed things so it no longer works.

Was working just great up until october 2nd when the UI broke and stopped working. It makes it impossible to block a channelID and I keep getting livestreams from very NSFW channels forcefully pushed to me. (For context all I do is listen to music and watch gaming videos and game related skits / animations and musicals. These recommendations are all youtube's algorithm being broken) Reporting them to youtube for violating their TOS is not removing it from my recommendations so I really need an addon like this, I can thankfully still block individual videos via videoID though. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Thank you for your hard work <3

At the moment not working. But it worked flawlessly for quite some time. I'm willing to wait for a fix.

Currently, it's broken and you cannot add more channels to the blocklist through the UI. However, there is a way to manually do this. 1. Go to the channel page you want to block. 2. Click on "...more" in their description. 3. Click on "Share channel" 4. Click on "copy channel ID" 5. Right click the extension icon and click Options, which opens a tab that lets you configure things. 6. Click on the "Channel ID" tab in "Filter options" 7. Paste the channel ID. Make sure to add a comment indicating the channel name.

I gave you a glowing review back in the day, when things actually worked. So I was so excited to see that you finally updated the extension today. And what I found is - Blocking shorts does "something", but still does not block all shorts. - Blocking users is still a far gone feature. - Hiding watched videos still leaves me a zillion vids I have entirely watched, regardless on how I adjust the slider. Anyway, I understand Youtube keeps changing things constantly, and it´s difficult to keep up, but getting this yesterday´s update was so incredibly disappointing, I felt compelled to write this. I will be updating it back to my previous 5 stars rating as soon as you manage to fix it, of course. Best!

Seconding the comments on Blocktube not working as well as it once did. I'll block a channel and it'll turn up again in my next search. Nevertheless it does work in its own iffy way once you've clicked block channel for the dozenth time. There's no way I'm sticking with Chrome after this and uBlock / AdGuard get removed, Chrome users are made to plump for enough inferior knockoffs of Firefox extensions as it is.

For a long time, BlockTube worked and I loved it. It allowed me to block out obnoxious channels, especially ones of a political nature. But, something changed and it no longer works at blocking channels. It still functions, mostly, at blocking channels with certain words. But channels? No, it is no longer capable of blocking channels or rather it has hidden conditionals on which channels you can block. And that was exactly why I installed the addon, to block entire channels.

The extension doesn't work as expected. I blocked a channel, refreshed the page, and the blocked channel still appeared. I repeated the process several times, but the channel continued to show up. It only stopped appearing after I clicked the "Don't Recommend Channel" button. If you're downloading this extension for features other than the channel blocker, such as the blocked message feature, it’s worth noting that it's a great add-on. However, if you're specifically looking for a reliable channel blocker, I would not recommend this extension.

It does not work properly anymore. Can't block shorts now, so this extenssion became useless for me :(

Sadly stopped working and Shorts are not blocked anymore!

Blocked Channels are still visible in ANY browser plus Youtube Master does absolutely nothing.

Brilliant, actually works. Works for comments, videos and the channel itself

I absolutely love this app! Also there was a recent issue and the developer got a fix out within days. It's working nicely again.

what happened why did it stop working :(? is there a new setting we have to do or smth please , I dont get github and code and stuff but it says some were edited/made five days ago ? will this get fixed
